Shaq (aka, Kazaam) has joked about becoming a hockey player, dicked around with rap music, attempted — and succeeded — at bad acting, became a deputy police officer, and spawned countless children. And he has still found time to train to become the next Brock Lesnar. Here’s the poop from our buds over at Nesw Sports:

On ESPN’s First Take this morning Jonathan Burke from 6 Levels, who has been Shaq’s personal MMA trainer for the past 10 years, dropped a bomb. He said that Shaq is going to start sparring against people and they will post the videos on The6Levels.com and it will most likely develop into Shaq vs Chuck Liddell.

Okay, so after analyzing the video numerous times — and by numerous times, I mean once this morning, bookended by a bottle of pineapple flavored rum my uncle left here after our Cinco de Mayo par-tay — I realize that the chances of a Chuck and Shaq head-to-head is as likely as Favre not stirring the shit every offseason. But Shaq’s trainer gets some nice face time while the ESPN chick was obviously trying to win a bet to see how many ways she could ask if Shaq and Chuck Liddell were going to fight. Oh, and work in the phrase ‘bare naked grab.’

This has set us to thinking, considering all the athletes that have crossed over to MMA recently. Guys like squealer Jose Canseco and Johnny “Glass Jaw” Morton. What other match ups would we like to see? Funny you should ask. Here are a few:
