1st Round

Marcus Davis took Hardy down early and appeared he was going to win the round. Then Hardy gets back up to his feet and lands a huge bomb. Davis is rocked but he survives until the end of the round.

2nd Round

Davis comes out with a few kicks looking to buy some recovery time. Davis lands a few lefts. Hardy lands a big knee and then jumps on him but can’t finish the fight. Davis recovers and tries to submit Hardy with an armbar. The fighters get stood up and Davis lands a few shots. Then takes Hardy down to finish out the round.

3rd Round

Davis lands a left at the beginning of the round that drops Hardy. Davis tries to get a leg lock and a heel hook, but Hardy gets out of both. Both fighters are looking tired. Hardy takes Davis down and cuts him bad. Both fighters get stood up to finish off the last minute of the fight. The fight ends with little excitement. Joe Rogan just said, “If your looking at faces you have to give it to Dan Hardy.”

Result: Dan Hardy wins by split decision.
