UFC 99: Mike Swick Vs. Ben Saunders (Video)
Round 1
Ben Saunders immediately pulls guard. Swick lands some blows, but does little to advance his position. Saunders is just holding on to Swick doing nothing. Fighters trade some trash talk to each other. Swick, “You going to hold onto me all fucking night?” Saunders, “You going to stand me back up bitch?”
The fighters finally get stood back up. Saunders lands a nice kick. Swick lands some combinations. The round ends with both fighters clinching against the cage.
So far the most interesting part of the night is fighters talking shit to each other.
Round 2
Saunders comes out throwing kicks. Swick takes him down with a leg sweep and then moved to mount. Saunders gets out the mount. Both fighters do little and get stood back up. Both fighters land some strikes. Saunders is trying to work his kick. Just as I was about to say Swick looks a little uncomfortable he explodes his fists on Saunders and ends the fight.
Result: Mike Swick wins by TKO in the 2nd round.
