So the Fedor press conference we were all waiting for came and went. And with it came another slap in the face from the MMA gods. What we know now is that Mr. Emelianenko will headline the EA Sports MMA video game that will come out next year. Randy Couture, Big Tim Sylvia, and Nick Diaz are also probably going to be “in the game.”

Yeah, yeah, yeah, just get to that rumor about Fedor signing to fight in the UFC.

Not going to happen. M-1 Global CEO Vadim Finkelstein — Fedor’s partner — admitted to negotiating with Dana and crew this week, but said they will only allow Fedor to fight in the UFC if it is a co-promotion with M-1 Global. So that pretty much kills it since we know the UFC will do no such thing. What was a wonderful thought yesterday, has today become the April Fool’s joke from hell. Now we’ll just get to see Fedor roll through a few more has-beens from the UFC other than battle with the best to prove once and for all that he is the best.
